Subject: The return of The miked Pub Quiz
Greetings Pub Quiz and trivia fanatics!
After a few month hiatus, the pub quiz season is upon us yet again. To thwart the numerous phone calls I receive each week inquiring as to the resurrection of The miked Pub Quiz, I can finally announce the venue!
Starting Wednesday, August 6th, and continuing the first Wednesday of each month, PJ McIntyres (http://www.pjmcintyres.com) located in West Park (SE corner of Rocky River Dr. and Lorain Rd.) will be hosting The miked Pub Quiz!
And the best part? It's truly the original "miked" version of the Pub Quiz! Back from their break are such favorites as The Video Round, The Missing Link, and Irish or Dead rounds!
- Signup is at 6:30pm - 7:30pm. The quiz will start sharply at 7:30pm.
- $5 per person, teams of 1-8 people
- 1st Place - 50% of the door, 2nd place - 25%, 3rd place - PJ's Gift Cards!
I'm incredibly happy I found a venue with great food, great people, and great drinks! This is sure to be a fantastic Pub Quiz!
So tell your friends, form a team, and get ready to get made fun of! After all, you really deserve it.
Questions, concerns, comments or obscene gestures, email me!
Sincerely,
miked

Do they take phone in teams (or members)?
ReplyDeleteWhat?! You're not going to jet into Cleveland to play in person? I can't believe it! : )
ReplyDeleteChristine did play by phone one night in March when the weather was crummy and almost everybody else stayed home — as detailed in "Awww Yeah" and subsequent "Compleat Pub Quiz" posts — so there is somewhat of a precedent. I'm not sure how well you'd do on the video round, though.
Eh, Miked pulls video clips off the net ... he can just tell virtual Pub Quizzers what to Google before each question ...
