So I found Indexed via Life Clever and am totally in love. This will be a source of desktop wallpapers once I get tired of my wicked cool couch on my work computer or my awesome chair on my laptop. I'm also envisioning some sort of slideshow-as-screensaver.
Speaking of screensavers, my friend Christine got me this as a birthday present. I think individual haikus will soon become part of a scrolling marquee screensaver on the work computer. Perhaps next week —— I'm anticipating having a lot of free time between 8 and 4:30. Of course, now I've probably jinxed myself and four people will magically turn in their manuscripts and I'll be swamped.
When I'm finished choosing haikus for my screensaver and index cards for my slideshow, I can get back to choosing images for my personalized Demotivators calendar from Despair, Inc.
So far I've imported all the images and captions into a (wait for it . . .) spreadsheet and I'm going to sort them into hi-larious, amusing, funny, just ok, and other categories that are vaguely meaningful to me so I can pick out my faves and place my order.
Just found 'indexed' myself. Quite a funny little site.
