I heard the best DST suggestion ever this morning on my way to work, when the AM DJ at V 107.3 suggested that if we have to skip an hour ahead, why not do it on Friday afternoon so everyone can go home early?
I could have used the extra hour this weekend, since I spent more time than I intended at St. Pat's in the Flats on Saturday and then went to my parents' house on Sunday to pick up some crafting supplies that I'll need on Tuesday night. My mom always tries to talk me into skipping work and staying overnight, and I kind of wish I'd taken her up on it. Sleeping in and lounging around the house sounds like perfection right now . . . Then again, when does it not?!
