out for a leisurely stroll across the floor of your apartment, the first order of business is to find some way of killing it. The second is figuring out what it was.

  2. Oh, I have spiders, too. Those don't bother me, though — I just ignore them. I also ignore house centipedes and crickets. But this guy freaked me out because he didn't look like any of the aforementioned critters.

  3. i shot a big spider in the basement with a .22 caliber blank once. It left a black mark on the wall with a white spider outline in the middle. Like in a Tom and Jerry cartoon where Tom runs through a screen door and there is a cat outline in the screen.
    My wife was not happy about that.
