Horrible Rumor

I spent the holiday weekend at my parents' house, and my dad told me something horrible: He read somewhere or heard someplace that The Price Is Right was cancelled.

Now, I may not watch the show as much as I used to, but I have a soft spot in my heart for it, and this really bummed me out . . . especially because my dad disconnected his wireless router and I was thus unable to search teh interwebs for confirmation. And then I was super-busy at work this week and too lazy to boot up my laptop at home, so it wasn't until just now that I ran it through Google.

I can't find any substantation for it, but I did come across this article on TV Squad, which led me to Drew's blog . . . where he posted these photos of the control box for the Clock Game. Awesome!

  1. Whew! Glad to hear your dad is wrong. I never watch it anymore, but I have many fond memories of it from summer breaks, and I don't want to imagine a world without "The Price Is Right."
