Between this and discovering how much I heart BackSpin on Sirius Radio in my! new! car! </Rod Roddy>, I've been having quite the week in hip-hop.
Last night on my way home from Around the Corner, I heard Monie Love's "It's a Shame (My Sister)" ... something I had on cassingle back in the day. (Ok, full disclosure: There's a hundred percent chance that said item is in a shoebox in the hall closet at my apartment right now.) Apparently I still know all the words to it, too.
Anyhow, I was singing along at a stop light, and when I looked in the rearview mirror at the people in the car behind me, it seemed as though they were singing along to the exact same song. So weird!
